PREREQUISITE
This class is for the beginner swimmer with little to no experience in the water.
Must be able to sit, listen, wait and follow instructions in a group setting.
GOALS
- How to balance in the pool and put whole face in the water calmly
- How to interact with the surface of the water by getting their whole body wet in back float position
- How to control their breathing and blow both mouth and humming bubbles
- How to completely submerge their body in the water
- How to safely walk around a pool deck, get in and out of the water independently
- How to use a lifejacket and float
